Coming soon to VR… and we can’t wait!

Coming soon to VR… and we can’t wait!

As I strolled around Incuvo’s nearly empty office, I realized how quiet and gloomy it is without our full team. So I jumped into Blair Witch to play fetch with Bullet for a bit… Funny, this office without its native residents could be a great addition to the Blair Witch game. Abandoned desks, empty closets, and a constant creepy buzz of our equipment. Our team brings so much life into our work space that I decided to check up on them and get some intel on what they are up to. As a company, we are working on several titles that will launch on various VR platforms even as soon as this year! But the most important intel I got from them are… drum roll please… VR games they are excited about playing!

Our team is currently living for a few new games coming to your VR platforms this and next year. The question was simple yet it started a huge discussion, and we may or may not have spent waaay too much time talking about the VR titles we are excited about - “What is coming to VR soon and you can’t wait to play it?”.

1. Hitman 3 VR

“Hitman 3 VR” - was the first title mentioned with zero hesitation. Hitman is a long loved game where now you’ll be able to virtually step into Agent 47’s world. HITMAN 3 will support only PlayStation VR at launch in January 2021. This game is all about immersion into the World of Assassination. From dressing up to hiding corpses, you can count on an action filled entertainment. Additionally, if you own Hitman 1 and Hitman 2, you’ll be able to import those locations into Hitman 3, gathering 20+ locations from the entire trilogy in one place to be enjoyed in VR! Your goal for this mission is kill and not be seen! Can you do it?

2. Resident Evil Village VR

Resident Evil Village VR - along with the flat version of the game, we will be able to access the VR version at the same time. Resident Evil Village is set to launch in 2021, but now the Capcom data leak revealed a potential release of this title in April - and we simply cannot wait! As enthusiasts of the horror genre, it is quite a treat for our team, so I am not surprised that a few people mentioned this title. Playing Resident Evil VR you will assume the role of Ethan Winters and experience terrifying pursuits and fight scenes while the Village will emerge as a character on its own giving you creeps the whole time.

3. Warhammer 40K: Battle Sister

Warhammer 40K: Battle Sister - is coming to VR, finally! Many fans of this title are extremely excited about being able to jump straight into the middle of the battlefield in the Warhammer 40k universum for the first time. You’ll be able to smite heretics up close on Oculus Quest and Quest 2 pretty soon! The official release date was set for November 2020, but then pushed to December. How dare they keep all of us waiting, right?! The pushback, however, brings hope that some bugs reported by early users will be fixed. Will you be checking out Battle Sister? Let us know!

4. Sniper Elite VR

Sniper Elite VR - Boom! Southern Italy, 1943. Your expert marksmanship as an elite sniper is required as fascist forces occupy your country. Reload and shoot to fight for the Italian Resistance! This series produced by Rebellion earned multiple rewards as a flat game, so our team is looking forward to seeing the VR version of this hit. We are still unsure in regards to the release date, so we will keep you posted!

5. The Climb 2

The Climb 2 - this game stands out among the others listed in this article. It is a sequel of the iconic VR experience which, I think, everyone dared to try! It may not be a horror, but climbing a skyscraper and falling down will definitely give you an adrenaline rush. You won’t find here zombies you need to put down with a headshot, but you will compete against others players and your precision will be detrimental. Can you reach the top of the ranking chart? Climb 2 is set to be released still this year, around Holidays.

6. Green Hell VR

Green Hell VR - was the most popular answer among our team members. Is it because they are working like busy bees on bringing Green Hell to virtual reality and need a break? It may be… Whatever the reason, we all are very excited for this one - we look forward to repeating Green Hell’s success but in VR. This game is an Open World Survival Simulator set in the Amazonian rainforest. You are left alone in the jungle without any food or equipment, trying to survive and find your way out. You’ve got only your bare hands, so you’ll need to learn specific survival techniques in order to build shelters and make tools. Also, you better craft weapons to hunt for food and defend yourself. You’ll fight with wild animals and tropical illnesses in the second half of 2021.

There is no official trailer of Green Hell VR as of yet, but I can tell you a secret… Playing the game, you have to be aware of your whole body! That is unless you want to host leeches on your ankle, or dig out parasites from under the skin on your arm. My bet is you don’t but you will still get them… Incuvo is currently working on introducing a full body to the VR version of Green Hell! Ok, I spilled enough beans for now, but I promise to soon release an unseen footage from the backstage of this game’s production. Anyway, these are the games our team is anxious to play; Which titles are you waiting for?
